For more than 20 years, Salamander Designs® has been designing innovative, specialized furniture systems that are shaped by your needs. Originally, Salamander grew out of an idea developed by Salvatore Carrabba in the early 1990s. During a search for furniture to support and display his home entertainment components, Sal discovered there was nothing in the marketplace that met his requirements. Sound Control Technologies (SCT)

Sound Control Technologies (SCT) are the market leaders in providing the solution for connecting Video Conferencing cameras to their hardware or software codecs over distances of up to 100 metres. Integrators are provided with a flexible solution for installing meeting, board room and lecture theatre cameras on walls, ceilings or shelves without the need for an accompanying power point. In many corporate or educational installations where multiple meeting rooms are the norm codecs are housed in a rack within the airconditioned environment of the company computer room.

To achieve the objectives described above Sound Control Technologies manufacture complete input/output connection extension solutions that deliver Audio, Video, Power, IR, and Control, over a single CAT5e/CAT6 link cable up to 100 meters. Each system is designed to fully support digital high definition PTZ camera solutions from Cisco®, Poly®, ClearOne®, Logitech®, Panasonic®, Sony®, StarLeaf®, and others. Our RemoteCam4™, RemoteCam5™, RemoteCam6™, RemoteCam7™, RemoteCam8™, and RCU2s™ series kits include all interconnect cables, power, and modules (less link cable) required for typical installations.

Our RC-SDA™ family of camera bridges provide BYOD facilities to many existing meeting rooms utilising their high quality PTZ cameras to enhance the video quality within the USB oriented ‘soft codec’ environment. The new RemoteTableKit™ series supports the Cisco® codecs for HDMI, Ethernet/POE and three Cisco microphones over a single CAT5e/CAT6 cable up to 100 meters.

SCT also manufactures a variety of on-wall, in-wall recessed, and ceiling camera mounts designed to minimize their appearance, leaving only the camera visible whenever possible. Laser cut to contour the base of the camera, our mounts provide the cleanest mounting solution available in the industry, utilizing a standard 2-Gang wall box or low voltage ring.

A uniquely simple and clean mounting solution for the Camera-End Module provides cable management and ease of installation. Our series of rack shelves are designed with mounting locations to accommodate the Head-End/Receiver-End Module(s) and power supplies, leaving access to the rack interior for clean and easy cabling while providing ventilation.
